Foods & Colors. Eating Well and Colorful to Physical and Spiritual Wellness

Food represents energy on many levels, from physical to spiritual. All of these energies feed us with the power we need from feeling healthy, active, making our way in the world, to make our decisions, to feel better emotions or thinking better thoughts. 

Our bodies are wonderful “machines” beautifully equipped with the necessary organs to transform the energy of foods into an energy that we are able to use, similar to what a language interpreter Would do also to restore the same body and to make it work even better.

As part of our being exploration, the gift of sight and can provide many inputs and It is very Important factor in the choice of the food starting for the colors of the aliments that we ingest.

Find Time to reflect about the colors that you regularly eat: did you prefer to eat colorful range of healthy, whole, raw and vibrant foods or pale or over cooked ones? Which color of food do you prefer?

The variety of colors in the diet can simply help us to orientate and understand if we are eating rich, whole, nutrient and complex foods or not.

Let your eyes be tantalized by the colors of food. What draws you in the garden, or in the market? When you eat foods, take in and savor the array of colors to nourish you also vibrationally, starting from their colors.

Natural colorful food are not only inviting to eat, but each color of them represents an important psychophysical and vibrational function that our Body and cells are receiving in the eating exchange.

The Chakras Colors and their Related Foods 

Chakras are the energetic vortex related also to determined parts of our physical body, where there is constant circulation of Life Force/Prana/Energy, and this energy not only is directed outwards towards the world we inhabit and the people we interact with, but is also drawn in from our surroundings and immediate environment. 

Eating healthy, adopting a vegetarian colorful diet with a balanced diet based on raw, natural and unprocessed foods is not only fantastic for many aspects of our physical body, but can also really assist with the development of our spiritual life via our chakras.

Red Color – First Chakra – Muladhara

The root chakra, or muladhara, is a particularly energized when it energy comes from healthy food, and very often problems associated with this chakra (Sense of ungroundness, disconnection from the world around us, financial problems) can be effectively and quickly brought under control by changing your diet to root chakra-friendly foods. As first chakra frequency pulses with, red vivid foods. These include red fruits and berries (especially pomegranates, cranberries and watermelons) and root vegetables such as beetroot and yam.

Orange Color – Second Chakra – Svadhisthana

Orange for confidence, creativity and emotional wellness: If you find yourself feeling low on confidence, sad, doubting yourself or feeling creatively blocked, get yourself some oranges Stat! Orange foods like oranges, mandarins, mangos, papayas, melons, carrots, apricots, pumpkin and yams will all make a powerful impact on these feelings.

Orange compounds like beta-carotene found in carrots help maintain a good vision and a healthy immune system. 

And remember to create an ealthy meal being inspired by your emotions: When you are arranging foods on a plate, think about the foods that fit together in a instinctive or complementary way. For example, adding diced red pepper or strawberries onto your base of mixed greens can be very satisfying on both visual and physiological levels.

Yellow Color – Third Chakra – Manipura 

Yellow, or golden-colored foods help to harmonize and to bring the solar plexus into its healthy vibrating frequency. Similar to the orange foods that support the sacral chakra, yellow-colored foods provide nutritious carotenoid pigments like lutein, which allow the solar plexus chakra to radiate.

Examples of these “Healing Yellow Foods” include corn, brown Rice, yellow bell pepper, lemons, pineapple and bananas.

Lemon juice or fresh lemon in water with the addition of ginger root is an excellent tonic for the rebalancing of body Ph and for an overactive liver.

Green Color – Fourth Chakra – Anahata 

Feeling stressed, fatigued and overworked? Green foods are the best friends for helping you to give You a first wave of new energy. Eat organic greens into a juice or make a gigantic green salad of young spinach or your favorite greens and you could feel your feeling of stress and anxiety to vanish. 

The live enzymes, oxygen and chlorophyll in the greens are responsible for this.

Blue Color – Fifth Chakra – Vishuddha

Blue/Black for are always a good remedy to find calm, also berries infuses and tea, of course! 

If you often experience anxiety, enjoy a bowl of blueberries or blackberries. Blue and black foods help to tonify the kidneys and the possible related sense of fear and to help to bring forth honest inner speech and a blearer and aeaceful Communication with others

Purple/Violet Color – Sixth Chakra – Anja

For feeling in peace with the world eat purple foods. Purple/Violet foods help to calm our mind energy body, to rebalance the brain waves and to bring peace when feeling of frustration, lack of control and anger can take precedence. Some purple foods Are eggplant, purple kale, onion, concord grapes,  plumes, purple carrots etc.

Purple color contain anthocyanidins overall in grapes and they potect the brain and preserve memory.

White Color – Seventh Chakra – Sahasrara

White Color helps to generate further strength  and it is associated to the seventh chakra. White foods such as mushrooms, coconut, garlic, ginger, onion and lychees help to ignite our strength and power. When you feel weak and pepressed without a reason try eat white foods to experience a surge of inner strength and to reboot and reconnect your whole chakra system.
